Before undergoing a trip, make sure you are prepared. Keep a couple of extra nappies in your car at all times in case of emergencies. Aside from nappies, you should also pack a changing pad, wet wipes, plastic bags, and baby clothes.

When you notice that the nappy is soiled, pull the car over to an appropriate place. Be sure to place your car in park mode. If the weather outside is warm, you can change your baby's nappy in the back seat or the front seat. If your car has a hatchback, you might find it easier to change her nappy in the cargo compartment. If the weather is cold, you can change her nappy either in the front or back seat, but make sure the heater is on.

Before changing your baby's nappy, you need to set up the changing pad underneath her. This way, you do not have to worry about making a mess on your car's seat. After changing, put the soiled nappies and wipes in a garbage bag, which you can throw away in a dustbin during your next stop. Place dirty baby clothes in a second plastic bag to bring home, so they can be washed.
